Autumn Leaves

Glorious gold, bright yellow & red,
So gently gliding as they fall.
The Aspen & Maple it is said,
Is the brightest of them all.
Silent messengers of what's coming.
Winter is coming and it's near.
Soon the old North Wind will be howling,
Then the autumn leaves will soon be gone.
Winter w/ it's snow to cover them will be here.
Mother Nature's will, will be done.
But on a nice warm fall day,
It's so wonderful to just enjoy this colorful array,
Oh, how I wish these beautiful autumn leaves could stay.
