All as One

Flower arrangements - rather flower scatters,
Our petals, stems, leaves,
Roots of different motherlands.

Each painted with no intention at wrong,
Stalks lay uneven in all of its chaos,
Leaves orbiting amidst the same waters.

Our chosen layers of dye,
May set our petals apart in this tangled sequence,
But vines remain intertwined, holding hands.

We see just a painting full of blended flesh,
Bleeding through history at its darkest,
stricken thorns left in bouquets.

O how the modern world still rides in the carousel,
Missing to take a look at what's called beauty,
Where we become one, one race, one home.
